As a ceramic artist I focus on the thrown functional stoneware vessel. My work is about life and mud and movement. I try not to be too bossy with my work, letting the form take shape on its own. Pots are like children. You've gotta be firm, but gentle. Simply guide them in the direction you want them to go. And if they don't turn out right, break 'em into a million pieces.
